Book Collection — A hobby to reckon with

I am very fond of reading since my childhood, more than that, I am so fascinated towards books that, I have a habit of collecting books, this is one of my best hobbies among others, which I would never like to change until corona beats me 😊. I have kept some of the books since the days of my high school and I prefer not to share with anyone not even with my dear ones. It looks awkward but that’s how it is. I love to keep them in my personal library, I moved across India even abroad but never disposed of any of these precious pieces, it’s like my Michelangelo sculpture or hope diamond. It looks obdurate but that’s my passion for books.
Some of these books aged along with me… like my high school NCERT books or Resnick & Halliday Physics or Commando comics, I am keeping them all till date…. 😊. After choosing Data Science as a profession this hobby heightened and boosted my hobby and increased my craving for more books and started collecting more for personal library.
I have read several books on Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence since I started my journey towards Data Science, I have bought many of them and planing to explore many more on various other topics. Initially, I struggled a lot to find a good book on Data Science or AI, although, got many suggestions from various experts however after all these years I keep compiling those amazing books and finally prepared a list which I would like to share with you all. I hope you like it and love to hear back from you, especially those who possess similar hobby of collecting books and ever growing fascination towards data science.
I have collected several books so far and still desire for more, as you know this field is so distinct, and rapidly evolving, there is no end to reading and solving every day challenges. Data Science is so diverse that we used to go back again and again to refer those old astonishing statistical theories or puzzled algorithms to improve our predictive model or design a new masterpiece and that’s the beauty of data science and its associated fields.
Although, I am not able to read all of them, but I love to keep them in my personal library for future reference and rate them based on my analysis as well as feedback shared by fellow scientists. Some of these books are too dear to me and I love to keep them for most of my time, some of them are kind of guide which I refer as and when required and some of them are must read to understand and elevate yourselves, some of them are for leisure time reading and some are for reference.
I have arranged these books based on few heads like popularity, usefulness or free time reading and so on. Love to see your comments on these if you want to add or remove any of these or even if you are not agreeing with my selection still love to hear your opinion.

Must read for any aspiring Data Scientists: These are books for beginners of data science, or we can say most of us must have read it during initial phases of data science journey. I would suggest aspiring data scientists go through these and you will definitely like this collection:
Good to Have: These are additional reading to the previous list, equally important reads and must to have it for continual reading. The contents are very useful, and you would love to re-read these books.
Personal library: These books are so much popular across the world and some of them are very old however still being remembered and referenced, you should read at least few of them, or I would say love to keep it in your personal library. Some of them are iconic:
Desired to have some day: These books are beautifully crafted, pleasure to read and very insightful and lengthy, although some or in fact most of them are bit costly (you can buy…available on EMI’s……just joking😊 but these are pricey) I am keeping these in my desired list to read it someday/ All of them are amazing reads if you want to enhance your knowledge and go for research or in depth study:
Interesting reads: If you have enough time, I mean spare time or avid reader must read these books. These books deserve a special mention as all of them has been written in specific way with lots of analysis and research, I am sure you like them.
For rainy days or leisure time reading: These books are very interesting concise and to the point, fact-based storytelling, I am keeping these in leisure time reading as you need not to sit on study table and keep a note. These are thought provoking books on data science, AI, machine learning or data visualization.
Conclusion:
There is no end to reading, if you are passionate about reading or want to fulfill your favorite hobby of collecting books, this is one of the unique hobbies many people cherish across the world. The more you read the more you crave for learning. There are hundreds of books on Data Science and thousands of articles being published every day. This is just a small idea to gather some useful books which are very popular and captivating. I have compiled these based on popularity and my personal analysis and belief; I do not say other books are not good, they are equally good, however this compilation is based on how much attention they grab in each section. This is an honest selection based on my personal choice. Please feel free to suggest if you have any other books which can be added to this list.
